Corey Ganim is a Charlotte, NC entrepreneur and a self-described technical translator: a non-technical operator who helps other non-technical business owners put AI to work. He started his first business in 2009, converting VHS tapes to DVDs in ninth grade, and has started more than nine since. The biggest was BrandRocket, an e-commerce brand he scaled past $16M in sales over nine years. He also built The Wholesale Network, a coaching community for e-commerce sellers, to $340K in annual recurring revenue and sold it in 2025. After his first taste of ChatGPT in 2022, Corey moved fully into AI. With business partner Nick Spisak, he co-founded Return My Time and created AOA (Audit, Optimize, Automate), a simple framework for finding where AI saves a business time and money. Return My Time runs AI Operator Academy, a community where operators learn to build and sell AI services. Corey hosts the Build With AI podcast, where guests build real AI systems on screen, and writes the Corey's Notes and AI Operator Brief newsletters.
